The Luck of the Irish...

Grafton Street
Abercrombie & Fitch is apparently making its way into the charming ole land of the leprechaun! An Irish online magazine has reported that all signs point to a FIERCE invasion of Dublin. Following along with its high standards of opening shop in structures of architectural integrity, A&F has signed a lease for space on Grafton Street - a street Cushman & Wakefield named the 5th most expansive in the world (2008). It will be located in the stately College Green square and is the most ideal place for A&F to showcase its coolness to the Irish consumer.  Ireland is jammed with great fanaticism over the A&F brand, and why wouldn't they be - who in the whole wide world isn't obsessed?!?

Rumors of Abercrombie & Fitch opening shop in Dublin have been circulating since 2008. The Company has finally found the time and place to carry out its landing at a most appropriate moment. After opening in all key European cities of fashion and consumerism by 2011, an opening in Ireland is much in order. It would be completely understandable for the Irish to be pissed off if A&F still held back an opening on their fair isle, don't you say? When the big day arrives, you can bet Abercrombie & Fitch will have found a pot of gold under its Irish rainbow of FIERCE fans...!

UPDATE (7 August 2011): This is post has been updated and reposted...Please read Abercrombie & Fitch in Dublin...the Luck of the Irish! for the revised post.
