Hollister is Surfing into Austria!

Since 2009, Hollister has been performing phenomenally in Germany! So it was no surprise when news broke out in May that HCo was surfing down into Austria! The time is approaching and we're here to keep you on tabs...

Hollister will be entering the Austrian market with two stores! Of course, securing the best locations for the stores was a priority. Both locations will measure at around give-or-take 700 meters squared (about 7,535 square feet):

• HCo EUROPARK: Noted for being the birthplace of Mozart, Salzburg is gonna get even more renown (among the coolest kids in town at least) when its HCo store opens doors inside the EUROPARK mall. The Internation Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) happens to have awarded EUROPARK as the Best Shopping Center in the World back in December 2007. Very nice.
• HCo MURPARK: On the other side of Austria in the south, HCo will open its second shop in the city of Graz (an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site) inside the MURSPARK shopping center - the only mall on the left bank of the Mur river.

Recruiting for began in the summer - "We're looking for outgoing, good looking, stylish people" - duh! - and interviews started in early-October. Once more, both of these stores will be opening in November...the first one to open will be in EUROPARK and then the second one will open a few days later in MURPARK! Get your surfboards ready, Austria!
